The front LED lamps of the W224 series are equipped with outstandingly efficient small FULL LED light bars. They have the homologation for road service and feature a very efficient full beam as well as front position lamp.
The lamps of the W244 series are 4'' wide and come with the standard lampshade – available in a colourless or darkened, the so-called “DARK” variant. The lamp frame is made of high-quality aluminum, which is additionally made two times safer against corrosion.
The light bars of the W224 series, similarly to their wider 20'' counterparts W221, W222 and W223 PANTERA, are electromagnetically compatible. All lamps fulfil the required norms and are resistant to dust and humidity at the same time. Moreover all of the lamps are designed as universal in terms of voltage: They work within the range of 12V – 24V.
Lamp body
The shape of the lamp's body and high-quality aluminium used in the production increase the amount of heat dissipated, and thus extend the life of LEDs. In addition, the entire body has a double protection against corrosion, which make it trouble-free for many years.
Special membrane
A completely sealed lamp could have adverse effects with large temperature fluctuations and changing weather conditions. Therefore for the proper functioning of all its components, it is important to maintain adequate air circulation. For this purpose, lightbars are equipped with a special membrane, which, in addition to proper air circulation, simultaneously protects against moisture and water.
High quality materials
Individual components of the lightbars are manufactured from high-quality materials, including a lens that is made of durable polycarbonate, which is characterized by increased resistance to breakage and mechanical damage. In addition, the lens itself has been covered with a special, reinforcing coating that protects it from scratches.
