Multifunctional rear lamps

Aside from the version with a standard cable, the lamp is also available with Schlemmer, TYCO or WAŚ 7-pin connectors.
The lamp is mounted onto the vehicle using two M8 screws with 152 mm spacing.
Position light

In all W293 and W294 lamps, the position light is one of the key elements defining the character of these models. It is created by double light lines placed in the centre of the lamp, running almost along its entire length, ending on both sides with arrow-shaped tips pointing toward the centre. The position light field produces a pleasant neon-like glow and is fully LED-based.

Version with logo and NN

In the basic variant, the position light field includes a centrally placed illuminated logo. The NN version is the variant without the logo.
Direction indicator

This is one of the two upper light fields located above the central position light. Depending on whether it is the right or left lamp version, the indicator is placed in the upper corner closest to the vehicle’s outer contour — that is, in the left upper corner for the left lamp and in the right upper corner for the right lamp.

DD SHORT version

This version features a short dynamic direction indicator, with the illuminated area identical to the version equipped with a static indicator.
Reverse light
White reverse light is positioned opposite the direction indicator, in the upper corner above the position light. Depending on whether it is the right or left lamp version, it is located in the inner upper corner — in the right upper corner for the left lamp and in the left upper corner for the right lamp.
Fog light

The red fog light occupies one of the two lower light fields, closer to the inner side of the vehicle. This means that for the right lamp, the fog light is in the left lower corner of the lamp, and for the left lamp it is placed in the right lower corner.
Stop light

The bright red stop light is positioned in the lower section of the lamp, opposite the fog light and closer to the vehicle’s outer side, in accordance with applicable standards for this light function. Like the direction indicator, the stop light is located in the right lower corner for the right lamp and in the left lower corner for the left lamp.

W293DD SHORT – dynamic indicator
All fully LED W293 lamps, in all variants, are available with both static and dynamic direction indicators. Catalogue numbers of lamps equipped with a dynamic indicator are always marked with the letters DD. In the W293 and W294 series lamps with a dynamic indicator, the rear direction indicators of category 2a, when triggered by the Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) generated by pulses of 4Hz ± 1Hz, switch to simultaneous activation of the light sources in accordance with Regulation R.48, points 5.9.3 and 6.23.1. After the ESS signal ceases, the rear direction indicators return to the sequential activation mode.

The new W293 and W294 rear lamp series have been developed as a completely redesigned construction, based on many years of experience gained while creating previous WAŚ solutions. Both series are five-function multifunctional rear lamps that – depending on user needs – can be additionally equipped with the SM1 side marker, bottom licence plate light or a dedicated power connector adapted to the vehicle’s electrical system and cooperating devices.
All models feature a distinctive position light shape, fully based on LED technology.
The entire family stands out with a characteristic LED position light signature.
The division between the series is based on the geometry of the reflector element:
• W293 – with a triangular reflector integrated into the lamp, ideal for trailers, semitrailers as well as agricultural and slow-moving machines,
• W294 – with a polygon-shaped reflector, dedicated to automotive vehicles.
W293 and W294 are now available in three coherent construction variants, without the traditional division into bulb, hybrid and LED versions:
• bulb version with a red lens and the option to convert to LED,
• LED version with a red lens and the option to switch to bulb technology,
• fully LED version with a transparent lens.
Both red-lens variants include an innovative solution that allows the user to change the lighting technology independently. In bulb models, the user may install a dedicated LED module by replacing any of the four light fields (stop, direction indicator, reverse, fog). Likewise, in LED models it is possible to disconnect the LED module and, thanks to the built-in reflector and bulb socket, restore traditional bulb technology.
The fully LED versions with a transparent lens integrate the position function into a single section shared with the direction indicator. The user can choose a black or white housing as well as a static or dynamic direction indicator.
At the centre of the striking position light sits the WAŚ logo emphasising the brand’s design; NN versions without the logo are also available.

The W293 and W294 lamps can be supplied with or without a bottom licence plate light, allowing the configuration to be adapted to the vehicle type.

All lamps from the W293 and W294 series are also available in versions with a side marker light SM1. Models with a red lens feature a red side marker light, while versions with a transparent lens are equipped with a yellow side marker light.

To simplify integration with different installations, variants are available with a standard cable or with dedicated connectors: Schlemmer, TYCO, WAŚ 7-pin and 4 × Super Seal with additional power outputs.

The housings and lenses are made of durable materials resistant to UV radiation and harsh weather conditions, and all models are equipped with EMC approval confirming electromagnetic compatibility.

Installation is quick – the lamps are mounted with two M8×24 screws at a spacing of 152 mm.
