The W297 lamp series has been designed with maximum application flexibility in mind and is offered in five diversified design variants, enabling the lamp to be perfectly matched to the vehicle geometry as well as the user’s specific requirements:
• W297.1 – long housing with a long lens
• W297.2 – medium-length housing with a long lens
• W297.3 – compact, short housing
• W297.4 – medium-length housing with a shorter lens
• W297.5 – long housing with a shorter lens

Models marked W297.x.1 are standardly equipped with front, rear and side position lights. The range is further complemented by the W297.x.3 variant, in which – in addition to the position light functions – the lamp also generates a side direction indicator light, improving vehicle conspicuity on the road.

An important enhancement of the range is the optional SPOT function. SPOT provides a concentrated beam of light projected directly onto the ground, which supports precise vehicle manoeuvring in areas with limited visibility.

The W297 series lamps are manufactured using selected materials with increased durability. A properly engineered polymer composition ensures resistance to mechanical damage and maintained flexibility across a wide temperature range. The lenses have also undergone detailed strength and durability testing in the company’s in-house testing laboratory.

The design provides a high IP6K9K ingress protection rating, while the electronic system has been successfully verified through electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing.

Thanks to the combination of a well-engineered design and robust materials, the W297 lamp series represents a reliable solution, developed for long service life and trouble-free operation.
